Three hand-thrown 1970s ceramic pieces from Höganäs, the Swedish town long known as a center of studio pottery thanks to its local clay deposits and its community of independent ceramicists working through the 20th century. The set includes a cylindrical vase in a deep oxblood glaze with a green interior, a small bulbous vase with a banded brown glaze, and a wide bowl in a mottled cream and olive glaze. Each piece is by a different maker and all three are signed on the base — a nice grouping of the glaze variety and craftsmanship typical of the region.DimensionsHeight: 8-12 cm (3.2 – 4.7″)Diameter: 9-12.5 cm (3.5-4.9″)
