Small raku-fired ceramic vase, second half of the 20th century. The gently ovoid form, slightly narrowed at the opening, is decorated with an expressive abstract design in cream-white, grey and black tones. Incised lines, smoked markings and irregular surface effects characteristic of the raku-firing process give the piece a strong graphic presence. Black interior. Unsigned, artist unidentified. Good overall condition, with an attractive patina and surface variations inherent to the firing technique. Dimensions: H 14 × Ø 10 cm.
