Passing Through, Original Acrylic on Canvas

An original abstract painting exploring movement, gesture and the relationship between colour and line. Soft underlying fields of powder blue, warm brown and diffused pale yellow emerge through a chalky neutral ground.Delicate white marks trace the movement of light across higher layer of the canvas, gathering and dispersing through the composition. Expressive yet restrained, the work holds a sense of shifting light, layers, spontaneity and quiet movement. Acrylic on deep frame Canvas. A unique, one-of-one work, signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.Dimensions: H 100 × W 80 cm x 4cmAbout the Artist: Liz Porter is British multidisciplinary artist with a background in Art, Architecture and spatial design.
