2D CONSOLE

Led by materials Harley’s designs manifest both physical durability and aesthetic endurance. Traditions of stonework and decorative crafts are met with clarity of intent and a reductionist framework, leaving only that which is essential to be expressed plainly. Salvaged stone and concrete are reordered and gifted space to breathe to maximise the material impact, transforming them into one off pieces that are balanced by meticulous attention to detail and a responsive spontaneity. Working out of Australia Harley draws largely upon the expansive landscapes that are characterised by the spaces in between, translating these charged distances into a precise working methodology.
